IPB Ceilidh - Date yet to be set for November 2012
The IPB Ceilidh will be held again at the Albion Park RSL in 2012. All who attended last year had a wonderful time and we hope to see you back again. If you missed it last year,
make a note in your diary as soon as the date is announced shortly.
Shazza and Anthony's Wedding
There was a good turnout of band members among the guests for Sharon and Anthony's Wedding held at Mt Keira Lookout. Well done to Sharon and Anthony for a great event.
Annual Christmas Tiddley
The annual "Christmas Tiddley" was held at Don's Farm in West Dapto, for those who have not been there it is a beautiful spot with a rivulet nearby and plenty of
space for children to play various activities as well as adults who wish to burn off a few calories. The event was another well organised turnout with plenty of
food for all that included both Scottish and Australian fare, drinks, need we say any more of course there were drinks it was a Scottish Tiddley not a Sunday
Morning Church Service. "Big Bill" also entertained during the afternoon with a song or three on the guitar.
Bob Webber steps down
2011 saw Bob Webber retiring from his long held position's of Band Treasurer/Secretary, Bob has done a magnificent job over the
years for the Illawarra Pipe Band, the position of Secretary is now being handled by Alison Robertson and Suzy Hartley has taken on the role of
Treasurer, well done Suzy and Alison.
Fund raising activities.
The band was "lucky" enough to get the opportunity to run two Bunning's BBQ's in December and raise much needed funds for
