The band was formed in 1945 celebrating 60 years in 2005.
The band wears the Wallace Tartan (as seen on the background of these pages)
Illawarra currently competes in Grade 4 and has numerous successes to it's name.

Band Practice

Band practices are held on Wednesday nights at the Centenary Hall, Tongarra Road, Albion Park. Practice starts at 7.30pm

Practice for learner pipers is held separately on Tuesday nights at the RSL Memorial Hall, Bong Bong Road, Dapto. Learner practice starts at 7.30pm.

There is no charge for tuition. Anyone interested in pipes or drums is welcome to come along to have a look and get involved.
